Root canal treatment

Root canal therapy is needed when the nerve of a tooth is affected by decay or infection. Photopolymer fillings

Treatment of periodontitis

Due to the poor oral hygiene periodontitis appears. The starting stage is gingivitis, the inflammation of the gums, which is reflected in the bleeding of the gums, unpleasantness and pain, and can lead to loose teeth.

If the gingivitis does not get treated, it will spread between the teeth and the gums, creating a gingival pocket that deepens to the extreme point – tooth loss.

Crowns

Crowns are restorations that completely cover the remainder of a tooth after cementing. Since they cover the entire visible part of a tooth, crowns become the new outer tooth surface. There are different types of crowns, including   metal ceramic, metal-free ceramic and full-ceramic Zirconium crowns. Crowns (or caps as they are often called) are used when an existing tooth is largely damaged or for aesthetic reasons.

Bridges

Bridge, a type of fixed dental prosthesis, is a grouping of interconnected crowns. It is used when one or more teeth are missing, and when there are suitable teeth on both sides of a toothless space that will serve as anchors for the bridge (abutments). A bridge consists of a filler tooth that is attached to two surrounding abutments (crowns). Apart from the aesthetic purpose, a bridge is used for health purposes as it prevents the recession of gums and movement of the surrounding teeth.

Veneers

Porcelain or ceramic veneers are thin, translucent shells, which stick to the front surface of the teeth. By using them we can change the shape, size, position and color of the natural teeth, correct orthodontic irregularities or replace old non-aesthetic composite fillings. There are some advantages of veneers: minimal reduction of teeth by grinding, very natural look, do not change color and they are the most ˝gentle˝ procedure for the gum.

Apicoectomy is a procedure that is performed when the root of the tooth makes a cyst that cannot be cured using other procedures. The top of the tooth root is removed in a way that the surgeon makes a cut in the gums and a hole in the jawbone to get to the root of the tooth. This removes the diseased tissue, the wound is sewn, and due to the natural renewal of the bones the opening closes very quickly.

Sinus lift is a procedure in oral surgery that involves sinus floor augmentation. It is a surgical procedure used to increase the amount of bone that has been lost in the area of the upper molar and premolar teeth, which is most often the result of previous tooth loss.
